If you've ever admired brioche stitch from afar, now's your chance to dive in and create stunning textures with confidence.

What is Brioche Knitting? Brioche knitting creates a ribbed fabric with a distinctive vertical texture. It's known for its lofty, cushion-like feel and its reversible nature – the front and back of the fabric look nearly identical! Though it might seem intimidating at first, brioche is built on a few simple stitches and once you get the hang of it, you'll be hooked.

Participants need to bring the following when they come to class:

  • Pre-work for class: Ribbing worked according to the instructions provided at registration

  • US Size 5 (3.75mm) 16” circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge

  • Worsted weight #4 yarn in 2 contrasting colors (yardage amounts provided with pre-work info)

  • Darning Needle

  • Locking Stitch Marker
